San Francisco
Monday, July 15th - left Napa, CA after two days of fun and frolic through the wineries of the area. We had a great time there and I think I'd like to return. We did however had to send home a package again, one of the downs of having the Miata, but it surely has had it's upsides as we drive down the road, especially in places like the redwood forests. We arrived at our hotel in San Francisco around one, checked in and went for a nice walk to Fisherman's Wharf where we had lunch and a hot fudge sundae at Ghiradelli's Chocolates. What would a trip to San Fran be without one. Had a little nap, then went to dinner at a nice Italian restaurant two blocks from our hotel. Tuesday, we are taking a tour of San Francisco, including a harbor cruise.

ReplyDeleteSorry it took so long for us to comment back but we got your postcard here at the Brooks! So exciting to hear that you both are having so much fun!! By the looks of things you are going to need a whole new cabinet for all these beer glasses!! LOL We miss you here, and can't wait for you to come back but are all very happy to hear that you are enjoying yourself. Safe travels and can't wait to hear more!

ReplyDeleteI had a great adventure this week too--- went to bolling airforce base w/ cam for the airmen of note audition. intense! he was selected for the position and will go to basic in September then off to Washington dc--great gig w/ a great band! im so happy for him... not much golf this week..... too hot! keep having fun!
