First day in Denver.
What a beautiful city! This morning we headed towards Boulder. It was a beautiful drive-the
Rockies in the distance. As we got closer to Boulder the grandeur of the Rockies was even more apparent. Boulder is a cute tourist town. We walked down Pearl Street and saw many street performers. We had lunch at a restaurant named The Kitchen. The food was outstanding and Norm had a local beer (thanks Lauren)! We then headed towards Golden- home of Coors Brewery. For those of you that knew my Mom-she LOVED her CoorsLight. I raised a glass(really glasses) to her today. The tour was fun and we visited the gift shop when we were done. No gifts for our new grandson here! We saw a little of Golden and then headed back to our hotel. Enjoyed a beautiful, but hot drive along the mountains. Did experience rush hour traffic around Denver . We found a grocery store and bought some snacks for an outside concert we are attending tomorrow night. Norm has been trying to include pictures in our blog but can't get it to work so have patience we'll keep trying.
